The ninth edition of GRANDI LANGHE 2025 has ended with a continuously growing number of attendees, the Consortium is preparing to face the programming in the United States with BBWO2025. The promotional events are a confirmation of the positive trend of the 2024 vintage which marks a +6% of bottled for Barolo and stability for the other denominations, including Barbaresco.

GRANDI LANGHE 2025, the most important event in Italy for the wine trade organized by the Consorzio di Tutela Barolo Barbaresco Alba Langhe e Dogliani with the Consorzio di Tutela Roero and in collaboration with PiemonteLand of Wine, ended on Tuesday. The number of attendees has grown constantly, more than 5,000, of which approximately 20% from abroad.

The 500 wineries present were therefore satisfied, of which 380 from Langhe and Roero and 120 from the rest of Piedmont, which presented more than 3,000 references of all the Piedmont DOC and DOCG. Success also for the press area, a new feature this year, which welcomed more than 150 journalists, both Italian and foreign, who were able to taste more than 700 references of the latest vintages of DOC and DOCG of the region with the service of AIS Piemonte.

We thank the Regione Piemonte, the City of Turin and Banca d’Alba for their support.

The growing presence of international operators and the upcoming events in the United States are proof of the stability of our denominations.

Barolo DOCG recorded a +6% for the year 2024 as bottled compared to the year 2023 and in particular a +32% for the month of December confirming the interest in Barolo and for the latest 2021 vintage that is coming out on the market.

Barbaresco DOCG is stable like the other denominations.

Also worthy of note is Langhe DOC and in particular Langhe DOC Nebbiolo which recorded an annual +12%.
