From 2020 the Consortium for the Protection of Barolo Barbaresco Alba Langhe and Dogliani organizes the Barolo & Barbaresco World Opening- BBWO, the most important foreign event to present the new vintages with more than 200 Barolo and Barbaresco producers to the trade and consumer.
The first two editions, organized respectively in New York in 2020 and in Los Angeles in 2022, have had considerable success with the public with more than 800 admissions for both events.
The third was organized in China, in autumn 2023: Vinitaly China Roadshow, Interwine, ProWein Shanghai.
BBWO2024 comes back in New York March 2024.
BBWO2025 includes a Roadshow of Academies at the beginning of February 2025 that will touch the cities in Texas, Arizona and Colorado. The Grand Tasting will be on March 25th in Austin.
Next editions: 2026 in Canada, 2027 in United States.
